Guillestre is a historic commune in the Hautes-Alpes department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region in southeastern France.

Founded by the Romans as "Ad Fines," Guillestre strategically guarded the passage between Dauphiné and Piedmont and served as the capital of the Guillestrois region.
